haha was super excited last night when i was trying to pay off my credit card bill.. but i'm not going to tell you what happened yet, but instead i'm gg to tell you a story of my new coat :)
this is my new coat:
i first saw it at sf bloomingdales on the monday of xmas week last year. it was originally priced at $380, but there was a 30% discount on it (i love xmas season!). unfortunately, they only had xs in that store and i was too fat to fit in it, and i couldnt get them to order a new piece to the store since i was leaving sf soon, so i decided to check out the stanford bloomingdales...
so they only had size m over there, and it was a little loose for me actually, but i bought it anyway... and surprise! there was a 40% discount on it! and on top of that, cos i applied for a bloomingdales card, i got an additional 15% off the discounted price! :) so i only paid $209 for the coat :)
there was a little bit of drama in between - i wanted to get a size s so i bought it from the online nordstrom store, but eventually returned it cos based on chloe's expert opinion, it din look very much different from the size m. and bloomingdales was further to go to if i had to return the coat there! :)
and so came my bill, and as i was paying it off, i noticed that my balance was $178!! they gave me another 15% off for using my card the first time!! woohoo! that's almost a 55% off my entire bill!! :)
i heart bloomingdales!!!
and of course, i heart my coat! :)
