high on tic tac!

it all began with a trip to walgreens in the morning yesterday. wanted to get some cashback cos my atm card's not arrived yet, so went to the sweet's section to find something to buy. and guess what i found! citrus twist tic tac! it's basically a combo of lemon and lime flavoured tic tac! i was very happy cos lianmeng told me more than a month back that they stopped producing lime flavoured tic tac! and so the first thing i did when i got to my desk was to email lianmeng to tell him about it! (he told me he found out about it about a month back but nvm!) =) and then i sucked on tic tac the whole day!!!

i don't really know whether it's the tic tac, or was it something else, but i was very hyper the whole day! couldnt calm down to do any work! i think another contributor to the highness was the excitement of the game coming up this saturday! was typing in exclamation marks and bouncing around the office the whole day! taking walks din calm me down.. i was very very high!

then i realised that it was the 16th! which means that my paycheck (my first!) should have come in yesterday! so i went online to check my account, but dun have! i later found out that it's probably in my pigeon hole, and it was just sitting there waiting for me! =D i was so hyper that i treated my colleagues to lunch! =) we had good teo chew food! but after lunch the hyperness kinda died down abit cos of the sleepyness caused by a full meal! but still more hyper than usual after lunch! =)

was at a meeting this morning.. had to wake up at 6.30am so was too tired to be high! and although i was really sleepy throughout the meeting, i felt really good cos i was learning alot from the meeting, and i felt that this was going to be something i'm interested in doing! i'm happy! =) i'm still training now so i shant declare that i've made a good decision to work here, but so far it's been a really good experience! =) i love my colleagues! and i think i'll like the work i'll be doing! i love cali! i love the weather in san jose! =) and after the horrible settling in phase and quarrels i had to deal with david han's been resolved, everything's feeling so much better! =) i want to say that although i dread to wake up early, i'm not dreading the fact that i have to go to work! =) it's so cool! =) i'm so lucky! =)

let's review this post in about 3 months! when my work would already have started! =) i hope the feeling will be the same or even better! =)

and i still need to get my bed! =) will post pictures after that! =D

(yes.. it's 3.45pm on a friday and i'm still at work! but i just cant wait to jot this down before i forget! =) yes i'm a cao-geng-gia!)
