tahoe!

photos photos!! happy belated thanksgiving everybody! haha.. over thanksgiving, david and i drove up to tahoe.. at first we were supposed to snowboard, but somehow inertia and the cold made us decide against that idea. instead we went atv-ing and watched a comedy show! =) the place is really beautiful! scenic! =) din take many photos, but my attempts to capture the beauty were not as bad as i thought they'd be.. so i shall share them with you!

it's amazing how in a one hour drive (to atv), the climate/vegetation and scenery could change so much! and as we drove across the state line.. the gas prices were pretty different too! =P

it started out all snowy.. the trees were conical and looked the same

then the snow kinda disappeared, but those conical trees still stuck around.. i guess when the winter gets colder, it will be snowing in these parts as well..

and so that was the car ride.. now we are getting ready for the atv ride!

it's really fun! but i was very stressed during the first leg of the journey cos i was the first person after the guide and i was going quite slow.. i tried to go fast! but i was scared! the second leg was better.. i think it's cos i dared to go faster so din feel like i was slowing everyone down!

some other things i did over thanksgiving: read mitch albom's for one more day, made rice krispies treats from scratch, shaved david's head...

and i shall end this entry with a recipe for rice krispies treat! enjoy! yumyum!

• 3 tablespoons Margarine or Butter
• 1 Package 10 oz regular marshmallows or 4 cups minature marshmallows
• 6 Cups Rice Krispies cereal

Melt margarine or butter in a large saucepan over low heat. Add marshmallows and stir until completely melted. Remove from heat. Add Rice Krispies cereal. Stir until well coated. Using a buttered spatula or waxed paper press mixture evenly into a 13x9x2-inch pan coated with cooking spray. cute into 2-inch squares when cool. Best if served the same day.
