smell

went to the market with my mama yesterday! haha i think she was pleasantly surprised that i volunteered to go.. heh! apparently the whampoa market is currently under renovation, and the two blocks of market + hawker center consolidated into one temporary block. one thing i realised was that the market smelled exactly the same way i remembered it (and all other markets) to be. and of course this is not surprising, but i was just wondering for a minute how come that is the case. i'm quite sure that the composition of the particles in the air differ from market to market.
