finally met sabrina for lunch today! it was fun catching up with her, discussing life happenings, exchanging opinions on our society and advising each other on our futures.. ahh i didn't realize how much i missed that girl! wished eunice was here too! time flew by as we had lunch and just talked.. it's nice to have a good friend around on campus! it's weird though, cos we never really hung out very often.. we only really met up for 3 meals i think, and the rest of the meetings were either during orientation, randomly bumping into each other on the streets, or her joining me and eun on our studying-turned-chit-chat sessions on the grass patch outside dennisson. i'm glad i managed to meet up with her before i left ann arbor..
after that me and david went to Wiard's Orchards and Country Fair! had wanted to go with more people, but everyone was either studying or doing work, so ended up going with david alone. it's kind of a halloween thing i think, or mabbe it's there the whole year round just that i didn't know about it. haha anyway, i had my first trip into a real maze! they apparently had a corn plantation in that area, and after the corns' harvested, they cut tracks out of the plantation! we had to find 6 checkpoints (wooden posts with a shape puncher thing) and get our cards punched to complete the "mission"! i got scared at one point for about 5 seconds cos we didn't know where we were going, but we completed the "mission" in about 30 mins! it's quite fun! =) we also raced through a wooden maze (i won), played mini-golf (david won by 3 holes), went through a vortex barn (4 times) where you walk through a tunnel of spinning walls and you feel like you are off balance, patted a goat, saw some lammas, wimped out of the dark "haunted house",watched 2 out-of-tune kids sing at the karaoke barn, ate an italian sausage, a hotdog, and drank a cup of vernor's. =D but booo i forgot to bring camera =(

background info: on wednesday, we cooked scallops! they were going for $8.99 a pound, and we bought 6 of them! it was heavenly!
the scallops are hidden under the pile of butter-deep-fried bread crumbs!
ooh! and they appear! pretty big hor? they were about 5cm in diameter!
